"To every nation, tribe, language and people"
Home of Hope 2009
The 2009 Spring Break Mission trip to Peru was a trip that allowed me to see and serve the children of God. During our time in Peru we worked at the orphanage Hogar De Esperanza (Home of Hope) This trip was a blessing from God in many ways. One of the projects that we worked on was an assignment to repair bicycles for the kids. After completing the project we saw beautiful smiles that shined as bright as the sun.

Getting out of my comfort zone was not easy but the Lord has all the glory and credit. I am so thankful and grateful to the Lord for allowing me to be apart of the trip to Peru in March. It will be something I always remember. Our goal was to aid in doing all the many task needing to be done at the Hogar De Esperanza. It was such a pleasure and honor being with other christians worshiping, singing, and working together. many things were accomplished that week. A garden was planted, bicycles and screens were repaired, landscaping was done. There was a Bible study and other activities for the house mothers. It was exciting to see the children willing to listen to the teachings of the Lord.

"The trip to Peru this summer with T.E.N. was truly life changing. I have been on a handful of other trips before, but this one was unique. God moved mightily through the group and changed many lives in only a few short days. There was one young boy in particular, that God put on my heart, and made it extremely hard to leave. His name is Diego. I pray that through the work of the team, and future teams, he will have the opportunity to learn of Christ's sacrifice and live in His will the rest of his days."

Mission, Peru 2006
I knew God wanted me to go with this team. When we got to Peru, it really wasn't a culture shock for me like other places I have been. We had everything we needed and I knew God had a plan. Passing out tracks was amazing, since everybody wanted one and would literally stop you in the street to get one. This is completely opposite to the situation in Orange County where no one wants anything you are giving out. I am definitely changed, especially through the conversations that took place in Peru. God truly put us all there to work togetehr for His glory and not our own.

Mission, Quito 2006
We saw people come to Christ. Before we departed on Tuesday and Wednesday protest and blockades took place in Ecuador. But we had Zero problems and God blessed greatly. we were able to see many make decisions in the city square and in the huge markets where people sell everything possible from "flea market" style booths. God used this team in many ways to do ministry to many groups of people.

Mission, Cameroon 2005
At times the journey to Cameroon seemed impassable, both emotionally and literally. Yet again God blessed and got us through. There were times when the rivers seemed to deep to cross. What we found were God blessed with bridges. We saw things we had never seen. We felt emotions deep in our hearts we had never felt. God touched us in ways we had not previously experienced.
